Supporting Families and Mental Health
Gladstone Primary Academy works hard to support well-being and mental health. We have 3 working groups who meet regularly to support the mental health and well-being of our children, their families and our staff.
We will be putting lots of helpful information on our website and on the Parent Noticeboards in school, as well as a number of resources on Class dojo, so please check this part of our site regularly.
You can also contact one of our pastoral team members:
Ms Paula Cooper - Home / School Link Worker
Mr Dan Egginton (Senior Learning Mentor)
Mr Dave Brian (Learning Mentor)
Mrs Parkes (Nurture Teacher)
Please come and meet Leigh, Our Mental health Support Practitioner.
Many of you will already know Leah who visits us in school every Thursday. She works with children and teachers in school to support mental health.
Leah also offers parenting workshops, so if this is something any parents/carers are interested in then please get in touch with Mrs Cooper and she will happy to give you more information about the sessions.
