HOW WILL MY CHILD/YOUNG PERSON BE INCLUDED IN ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE THIS CLASSROOM INCLUDING EDUCATIONAL TRIPS?

How will my child/young person be included in activities outside this classroom including educational trips?

 

All children are included in out of educational trips and activities. Relevant support is made if needed for specific children i.e smaller ratios of adult to child. We are an inclusive school so we expect that every child takes part in all activities which their class is undertaking. Children with specific medical needs will have a care plan in place. For some children we may need to ask a parent/carer to accompany their child on the educational trip. Some children may be asked to sign behaviour contracts which outline expectations, rewards and clear consequences if they don’t support the academy’s behaviour policy.
